Not a lemon and not quite a lime - Lemonade is a naturally sweet citrus that you can eat straight off the tree. The juice is refreshing without the pucker, pale and fragrant, and works beautifully in drinks, salads and desserts. A genuinely different addition to any edible garden, and a great choice if you have kids who want to pick and eat fruit straight from the tree. Full sun, well-drained soil, regular deep watering. Feed with citrus fertiliser in spring and autumn. Mulch well to retain moisture through Perth summers.
