Tropical hibiscus flowers continuously from spring through autumn in Perth's hot, sunny summers. Full sun. Well-drained, fertile soil. Water regularly through the growing season. Feed with a balanced fertiliser through spring and summer. Prune in late winter to early spring. Firebird produces orange-red flowers with strong colour intensity throughout the long flowering season.
