Mac Silver Emu Bush has notably fine, intensely silver-grey foliage that makes it stand out among eremophilas even when it is not in flower. The leaves are small and densely packed along the stems, giving the plant a silvery, almost frosted appearance year-round. Soft pink-mauve tubular flowers appear over a long season and attract honeyeaters. It grows to around 1-1.2m with a spreading, rounded habit. The silver foliage works particularly well as a contrast plant alongside darker-leaved natives or next to the deep green of a Grevillea. Full sun. Excellent drainage. Phosphorus-free fertiliser. Very drought tolerant once established.
