Japanese Seedless is a mid-to-late season mandarin producing small to medium, intensely sweet fruit with no seeds - an excellent variety for anyone who wants a seedless option beyond the standard Imperial. The eating quality is exceptional: very sweet, low acid, with a clean, pure mandarin flavour. The tree is compact and well-suited to smaller gardens and pot culture. Ripens from late June through July in Perth. Full sun. Well-drained soil or quality potting mix in a large container. Feed with citrus fertiliser in spring and autumn.
